50 Facts About me, Taylor Swift!
1. I was born at 5:17 a.m., which I think is really cool because 5+1+7=13.
2. I am a proud introvert. Now, introversion is NOT being shy. You can be a shy extrovert. Being introverted just means that being in environments with lots of people and high energy drains you, and your alone time is like recharging a battery. Introverts might come across as shy, but really, we're just observing the people in the conversation and thinking before we add our ideas.
3. I love to stick to tradition. If there's something that I do on special occasions (like holidays) that is close to my heart, I rarely branch out.
4. My favorite color is tiffany blue.
5. Snakes and spiders terrify me.
6. ^ So does death and not ending up happy.
7. I LOVE YouTube videos. My favorites are catrific (she is like, my long lost twin), missglamorazzi, macbarbie07, meghanrosette, Kingsley, Jack and Finn, Smosh, and TheFineBros (all the [blank] react videos)
8. I'm also a huge movie person. I love to observe everything in the movie from the acting to the soundtrack. Picking a favorite movie is impossible, but I LOVE every single Disney movie ever. :)
9. Cleaning my room while listening to Taylor is one of my favorite things to do.
10. I prefer silver jewelry over gold.
11. The ocean is my favorite place ever, especially Long Beach Island, New Jersey. When I'm old I'll buy a house there and live out my days in peace.
12. I have this fear that life when I'm 35 and with kids will be so much different from now, and I know it will, but I just don't want to live in some futuristic society.
13. I connect songs, scents, and movies to specific times and places.
14. Beetles freak me out.
15. I consider myself an optimist, but it really depends on the situation. I'm pretty blindly optimistic, too, and I guess saying that isn't very optimistic. :P
16. But, I'm not a realist. I'm very much a dreamer.
17. Psychology and personality types and how my brain specifically works really, really fascinates me.
18. I have trouble accepting change. A lot of times, I have to lie to myself just to go with the flow.
19. I see summer in a very nautical, old-timey, 1940's way - spending time with friends and family at the lake house or the beach.
20. My favorite seasons are winter and summer.
21. Medical school is where I least want to be when I grow up, but if I have to be in any medical field, it would be studying the brain and/or nervous system.
22. My ultimate dream is to be a singer/songwriter but if that fails I'd love to be an interior designer, detective, or like I said, a neurologist. Or psychologist. Or just a songwriter, like Liz Rose.
23. One of my obsessions (and I mean like this consumes my everyday thoughts) is to think of a metaphor or simile for every situation. One of my favorites I've thought of is "love is like the stars. It's beautiful from a distance and everyone wants to be there, but when you get too close, it burns." I know it's super pessimistic but I thought of it one day when I was in a rut.
24. I'm a total in-my-head sort of person. I spend a LOT of time thinking about myself and life and theories and metaphors and observing other people and the future. But, as an introvert, I rarely communicate my deep inner thoughts to other people.
25. I LOVE QUOTES. Right now, my favorite is "just as things grow in fast movies, I had the familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer." It's from the Great Gatsby.
26. The Great Gatsby fascinates me so much, with all the symbolism and mystery behind it.
27. I'm a total history nerd and know American history, from the Pilgrims to the end of the Cold War, like the back of my hand.
28. Pretty much every night, my best friend who lives down the street and I go biking around the block. We usually end up at my house.

30. My cousin Kristen, or LikeEver13, is on here and my song Never Too Far Away, that I wrote last July, is about her.
31. Yes, I write songs, if you didn't already know. I have 40-something songs write now. I write about my life and my daydreams and nothing else.
32. The show Brain Games on National Geographic is my nerdy pleasure. I also love Pretty Little Liars and Twisted on ABC Family. I love Whodunnit on ABC.
33. I'm a very clumsy person. My parents always make fun of me because I spill EVERYTHING. :P
34. I can also be very moody.
35. I'm obsessed with iPhone cases, and I love all the vintage, handmade ones on Etsy.
36. I act in plays, and I have a pretty good group of friends at the place I do these plays.
37. I'm not a huge DIY person. I like to buy things myself. But, I'm excited to be making my sign and my shirt and all for the concert. :)

39. Long car rides are veeeeerrrryy close to the top of my list of favorite things EVER. I'm talking 4+ hours in the car, earbuds in, listening to Taylor.
40. I get really, really attached to places, even places I went into thinking I would hate it there. Like school. On the last day, I was literally pacing up and down the hallway procrastinating leaving.
41. My dad is the person in my family I'm closest with. We're so alike: we make decisions based on our minds, not usually our hearts, we're book-smart, introverted, independent, and he's an English teacher and I love English so we read the same books together and we're basically best friends.
42. Symbolism is so cool and I love to put together the clues to figure out what idea a tangible thing represents.
43. The Divergent Trilogy by Veronica Roth is my favorite series.
44. I also love mystery books, and my 2 favorites are And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
45. I tan at the lake and burn at the beach.
46. I have this weird thing for sunscreen, like I love it. I love Hawaiian Tropic the best.
47. One of my dreams is to be on Ellen.
48. If I like a boy I won't verbally tell him face-to-face. I'll write a song. I've only put one name in one of my songs, and that's Lars.
49. My mom's side of the family-reunion has 50 people and it's HUGE because my grandma's brothers and their wives and their kids and then my mom's cousins' kids come and there's a lot of people. My dad's side of the family-reunion has 16 people because it's just my grandparents, my dad's two sisters and their 3 kids, and my family.
